Our NE Surf teams were entered into the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by NEFC.  We took the opportunity to give a quick recap of our NE Surf teams that we felt had a great opportunity to be very competitive over the weekend!

First for the Boys side:

2008 State Sky: Started off the weekend bright with a 3-0 victory but couldn’t keep the momentum rolling over the next 2 days.  Conceding early goals in both of the next matches proved too much to come back from despite a valiant effort.  Finishing off the weekend with 1W and 2L’s.  Overall a solid weekend with lots of new faces

2007 State Navy: A dominant display in typical fashion for this team.  Winning all 3 games and scoring 10 goals in the process.  It is going to take something special to stop this team who are headed to Florida to continue their dominance!

2005 State Navy: A rare bad weekend for this side.  3 losses over the weekend for one of our best teams in the club.  They will look to bounce back quickly as they too are headed to Florida this coming weekend!  Best of luck boys

Onto the Girls side:

2008 State Navy: Winning the top bracket in typical easy fashion for this side.  Scoring 12 goals in 3 games and only conceding twice.  Simply unplayable at times under the guidance of their coach Andy Prosser.  We have high expectations for this team in this upcoming season and we are sure they will surpass them!

2007 State Navy: Simple and effective for this team.  Winning the top bracket with 2W’s and 1 tie.  They will look to continue the momentum going into new year and challenge for the DPL National Title again!

2006 State Navy: A rare and unfortunate weekend for this side and our State Girls Program.  Going 0-3 on the weekend in the top bracket but heads will still be high as they look to defending their DPL National Title in the new year.
