Our NE Surf teams have been entered into the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by NEFC.  We took the opportunity to highlight some of our NE Surf teams that should be very competitive this weekend!

First for the Boys side:

2008 State Sky: A new look roster for this team with high expectations for this upcoming year.  They will face off against Seacoast United Maine Premier Blue, NEFC Metro Red and Seacoast United NH Elite.  Cristian Suvak had this to say about his team, “Lots of new faces in the team after a very difficult season last year.  We are looking to be super competitive this year League Play/Tournaments and this is the perfect opportunity to kick start a season!”

2007 State Navy: This will be the first weekend of a very busy month for this side.  They will be heading to Orlando to compete in the NL Pro later this month and then our very own Winter Invitational on Dec 17th!  However, this weekend they will face off against: NEFC RL B07, Boston Bolts ECRL and Seacoast United Mass Elite NL Blue!  Their coach Tommaso said this, “The team had a fantastic 2021-22 season, runners-up in State Cup and second in their league. We look forward to starting the new season with a few roster additions and continuing our journey as a team.

2005 State Navy: A really dominant side will look to continue where they left off from last year.  They will start their weekend off with: Blackrock FC, followed by Bolts ECNL and finishing off with NEFC ECNL.  Jake Beverlin had this to say about his team, “Looking forward to seeing everyone back and having some fun in the cold.”

Onto the Girls side:

2008 State Navy: Playin in the top bracket against Bayside E64, NEFC NS DPL and Seacoast GA.  It will certainly be a tough weekend for our girls but nothing they can’t handle.  Their coach Andy Prosser had this to say about the team, “The team are looking forward to returning as a group following the High School Season and are excited to use the event as a Pre Season platform to assess where we currently stand going into the 22/23 season”

2007 State Navy: Coming off a dominant year last year where they were crowned DPL National Champs, State Champs and won multiple tournaments throughout the year.  They will look to continue where they left off this weekend.  They will face off against: NEFC North Shore, Ginga SC and Rhode Island Surf!  Darren Gallagher had this to say about his team, “We are excited to kick off a short season with three competitive matches at the NEFC Thanksgiving Showcase. These early games will give us a chance to get reacquainted as a team and to build towards our peak performance levels.”

2006 State Navy: Another team that completely dominated last year in the DPL.  Made it all the way to the national finals and they will be looking to make it one step further this year!  They will be up against, South Shore Select GA, NEFC GA and SUSA ECNL this weekend!  Their coach, Tim Mason had this to say, “A really good that has a great blend of quality, personality and intensity.”
