DPL Release
New England Surf has been formally accepted into the Development Player League (DPL) for our highest level state teams. We will enter the DPL this spring and will play games as early as March 27th. Click Here for more information on the DPL league platform.
There is certainly an air of excitement surrounding the New England Surf Girls program! By entering the DPL platform we are aligning with a league that is focused on and driven by the female athlete! We are looking forward to the strong competition and the opportunity that this league transition will present to our players and families.
Although the spring season will be a little unique, it will allow us to map out a season that will provide flexibility across both league platforms. Here are a list of benefits:
- Five-game schedule (spring) that will provide a Club vs Club format. Associated teams will come across completely in the fall of 2021.
- Expanded age group player pools that will provide more playing opportunities.
- Additional local games for teams that have lost out on tournament play due to travel restrictions.
- League connectivity that puts our girls program in the strongest position to play at the highest possible level.
Participating Teams:
- New England Surf
- Seacoast United Mass
- Seacoast United NH
- Seacoast United Maine
- Rhode Island Surf
- Juventus
- NEFC
- NEFC West
- NEFC North Shore
